Ulsan Metropolitan City was established as a foundation to promote Ulsan's economy.
On March 27, 2002, the center was opened as "Ulsan Metropolitan City's Small and Medium Business Support Center."
On May 1, 2013, the institution name was changed to "Ulsan Economic Promotion Agency."

Our center addresses the difficulties of small businesses by establishing One-Roof Service with SME (small and medium-sized enterprises) support institutions gathering in one place.
We do our best to strengthen our competitiveness and revitalize the local economy by providing customized support, including funds for small businesses and small merchants, management, technology, workforce development, and marketing at home and abroad.

We will do our best to promote the Ulsan economy through support and promotion of small businesses, which is the mission of the Ulsan Economic Promotion Agency.
